Dimbinirina Razafindramanana
Lead Software Engineer · Digital Public Infrastructure & Identity Systems
I build the digital foundations that allow governments to serve their citizens better — from national identity and biometric systems to API-first integration layers and GovStack building blocks adopted across Africa.
With 12+ years at the intersection of software engineering and public sector transformation, I specialize in Digital Public Infrastructure — the identity systems, data exchange layers, and API architectures that make modern government services possible.
My work spans the full stack of digital transformation: designing and implementing digital identity and biometric systems (national ID, civil registry, authentication), building API-first integration layers that connect legacy government systems to modern platforms, and contributing to GovStack open-source building blocks adopted by governments worldwide.
Currently leading software engineering at the Unité de Gouvernance Digitale in Madagascar, and serving as Technical Advisor for GovStack's implementation in Mauritania — helping digitize national government services using standardized, scalable frameworks.
I believe that good digital infrastructure is invisible to the citizen and transformative for the state. My goal is to make that infrastructure real, one integration at a time.
